As entrepreneurs, we kept facing the same problem: securely sharing investor decks, financials, diligence materials, and confidential documents was either too expensive or unnecessarily complicated.
Most data rooms are designed and priced for investment banks, private equity firms, and large enterprises—not early-stage founders who need to move quickly.
Founders still need to present professionally, protect sensitive information, track engagement, and know when to follow up. We just do not need a bloated platform or thousand-dollar monthly bill to do it.
So we built SendRoom: a simple, affordable way to create a polished private room, share documents securely, and see who is genuinely interested.

Built to protect sensitive founder materials
SendRoom is built on a platform that maintains SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certifications, and every part of the product is designed around access control and visibility.
- All traffic and files are sent over TLS; documents are stored in private cloud storage and served through signed, time-limited URLs
- Investors must authenticate before viewing anything; row-level security policies ensure users only see the rooms and documents they are allowed to access
- Share links can be scoped to specific documents or folders, so investors only get the materials you choose
- Founder tier and up display documents in a watermarked in-browser viewer; every plan logs every view with viewer identity and timestamp
- When you cancel your SendRoom account, your data is deleted

Every room invitation and notification is sent from noreply@sendroom.io, using our own verified domain so messages look professional and land in the right inbox.

- Built-in send test and email log in the admin area so you can confirm delivery and diagnose issues quickly
We also log every send attempt—status code, provider response, and sender details—so you are never left guessing why an invite did not arrive.
Common questions about access and sharing
Who can access a room?
Only people you invite. Each room is private to your account, and investors must authenticate through a verified email address before they can view anything. You control exactly who gets access and can remove viewers at any time.
How does document sharing work?
You upload documents into your room, then share the entire room or a specific set of documents via a secure link. You can set a hard expiry date and require email verification. Founder tier and up add a passcode option and display documents in a watermarked in-browser viewer; every plan logs every view with viewer identity and timestamp.
